Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour 3 Days Itinerary:

Day1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

Departure from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, we drive over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). On the side of the mountains, you will see Berber farms and traditional villages until we arrive at Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city', situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech.

It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted a UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site has been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator visit the Kasbah and have lunch.

Then heading to Ouarzazate named the “Hollywood of Morocco” we continue Through the Road of Thousand-Kasbah passing Skoura palm grove and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, before we achieve Dades and check into the hotel/Riad.

Overnight accommodation in a comfortable hotel/Riad including dinner & breakfast.

Day2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

Day3: Merzouga Desert - Alnif - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
