17 Days from Casablanca to Sahara desert via Imperial cities and Atlas Mountains

Casablanca airport – Rabat

Arrive to the Airport then drive to the city of Casablanca to visit the mosque of Hassan second then continue the Imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom.Visit the magnificent Mausoleum Mohamed V and the Hassan II and the Kasbaha of Oudaya and the Medina then Check the Hotel.

Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast then we drive to Chefchaouen the blue city through Rif Mountain arrive there and check the Hotel and the rest of the day enjoy the evening inside the Medina

Chefchaouen Medina

Free day to discover the beauty of chaouen’s mountains surroundings are enhanced by the contrast of the brightly painted medina ( old town ) . It is this beauty and the relaxed atmosphere of the town that makes chefchaouen very attractive to visitors.The main square in the medina is lined with cafes and filled to the brimwith locals and tourists mingling easily.

Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast heading to Volibules through other Imperial city of Meknes to visit the Roman ruins, which are spread over a wide area and afford beautiful views over the valley and hills.Then head to Fes check the Hotel

Fes - Fes Medina.

After breakfast you will start exploring the imperial city of Fes in Morocco ,founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II .You will visit the Medina, Médersas Attarine, Fontaine Ennajarine, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Karawiyin Mosque and the new medina in Fez Jdid .In the evening back to the hotel.

Fes - Merzouga.

In the morning after breakfast depart to Merzouga via Ifran Moroccan Swiss style of town and cedar forests it where that we will stop for a while to enjoy seeing monkeys climbing the trees.Then Lunch is in Midelt, “the apple capital”, at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. We continue over the Tizi-n-Talremt pass and through the Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. All along the road there are innumerable “ksars”, small villages of individual houses. From here we reach Er Rachidia and then Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils. .Arrive Merzouga where Morocco's unique dunes, the rest of the day will be dedicated to appreciate the evening change over the dunes. Night in Desert Hotel.

Merzouga - Erg Chebbi Dunes.

After breakfast heading to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-road to have a tour of sand dunes then stop to have a tea with nomads in berber tents you will discover a new sence of life.from there back to the hotel to relax before start your camel trip into the middle of the dunes in order to see the sunset then after you will arrive to the bivauc and spend the night under nomadic tent.

Merzouga – Ramlia ( Off-road )

After breakfast we will begin our adventure to the heart of the sahara through the famouse Rally Dakars trackto discover the pure wilderness of Morocco’s south east,passing the village of Ouzina which offering splendid sand dunes then continue through ziz river till we will arrive to the Village of Ramlia there you will walk to discover the primitive way of life by the local people.Then check the Auberge near by the village where you will relishing the panoramic view of the sunset.

Ramlia – M’harech – Tafraouet – Zagora

After breakfast Continue our adventure through the dry river Oued Ghris which is rough and dusty places till we will arrive to Gorges of M’harech crossing many villages and Nomads with many Akasia Trees and among different desert aspects like Valleys and Rocky Mountains.Arrive to Zagora and check the Hotel

Zagora – Alnif – Todra gorges – Dades

After breakfast drive through Draa Valley rich of Palm plantations along the way then stop in one the amazing panoramic to see the ocean of palm and many Kasbahs then we leave the Valley and drive to the east towards manys berber villages till we arrive to Todra valley and Gorges its an ideal place for walking and exploring in your own.Have lunch then drive to Dades and check the Hotel

Dades – Dades Gorges – Roses Valley –Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast drive to Ouarzazate through Dades valley has lush green fields,spectacular gorges and slot canyons of rose-coloured sandstone then continue to the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna especialy lovely in late april and May when the roses are in full bloom. we drive Through the Road of Thousand-Kasbah passing Skoura palm grove untill we arrive to Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Morocco”.Check the Hotel in Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate - Kasbah ait ben haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast drive to Marrakech through the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city', situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After stop for lunch then continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas mountains..Then check the hotel.

Marrakech - Marrakech

You will explore the beautiful city of Marrakech, the Square, the Medina, the Menara Garden, the Koutoubia Mosque, Majorel Garden...In the evening you will transported to the hotel or the airport.

Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast leave to Essaouira ,a small fortified city bathed by the Atlantic and declared World Heritage Site in 2001 and has traditionally been given names such as The pearl of the atlantic or sleeping Beauty .There you can stroll and enjoy the beaches,the walls and the Medina.Check the hotel
